Jason Wu is coming out with a line for Target!!!!!!!!
I’m extremely thrilled about this! I want to buy everything and the prices are quite reasonable! Prices on all items in his line are going to be between $20-60, much cheaper than other designers who have been brought in! I love Jason Wu and I’m so excited that he is making clothes that I can actually buy! In my opinion, this is way more exciting than the craziness that occurred over Missoni doing a line for Target. The Jason Wu line comes out February 5th, a month is too far away…

The collection had a sporty plus elegant vibe, with bright colors and comfy tops, inspired by the designers trip to the Himalayas. The combination almost gives the collection a space-y feel to it, I like it!

Plaids, and asymmetrical cuts with some 70’s vibes bring an interesting twist to the business casual look. I’m into it!

Burberry Prorsum Pre Fall 2012!!
I didn’t know to expect this, so when I saw it I got super excited! Also I had to stop myself from posting every single picture from the collection. I loved it and its addition of bows into every single outfit. I love how Burberry is inherently its own; no other designer has a similar look. Such a beautiful collection!

Jason Wu, Pre- Fall 2012.
If you’ve read this blog you’ll know that I absolutely love dark clothes with pops of color. This collection was filled with them. The fifties inspiration is easy to see with high waists, cigarette pant, knee length cuts and full skirts. This collection is an interesting dichotomy to the Spring collection, which didn’t have an inch of darks in it.

Did you know that designers have pre-fall collections? This makes me very happy because it’s one of the few times where fashion and seasons actually correlate.
Some of the designers I really like have shown their collections, one of them being Oscar de la Renta. I quite liked the collection, though some had a grandmotherly vibe. The overall collection definitely had roaring twenties theme, which I love.

This is such a great photo shoot from Vanity Fair Italia’s November issue, shot by Esther Haase. I wonder how many photo shoots I’ve seen with the Miu Miu booties; lots!! They are definitely the shoe of the season.

Last week, Tel Aviv had its first fashion week in over 30 years. Fashion Week was made up of 20 shows with Israel’s best designers. Roberto Cavalli started off the week with a bang re-showing his wonderful Spring 2012 collection. The week continued with up and coming and well-known Israeli designers. While some designers took queues from international designers, some kept the Israeli twist, and some were straight up weird. Although I’m so proud that Tel Aviv had a fashion week, they still have a long way to go to be in the likes of Paris, Milan, London and New York’s fashion weeks. This is a great step forward for Israel and their hand in fashion. Her. e are just a few pictures, the good, bad and ugly.
