Last week, Tel Aviv had its first fashion week in over 30 years. Fashion Week was made up of 20 shows with Israel’s best designers. Roberto Cavalli started off the week with a bang re-showing his wonderful Spring 2012 collection. The week continued with up and coming and well-known Israeli designers. While some designers took queues from international designers, some kept the Israeli twist, and some were straight up weird. Although I’m so proud that Tel Aviv had a fashion week, they still have a long way to go to be in the likes of Paris, Milan, London and New York’s fashion weeks. This is a great step forward for Israel and their hand in fashion. Her. e are just a few pictures, the good, bad and ugly.
Roberto Cavallli, lovely!

Alembika

Alon Livne, hey there! That slit is a little too high.

Galit Levi

Gideon Oberson

IGY, this is just ugly and wrong.

Ishtar, what is that on her head?

Kedem Sasson, this is classic Israeli style in a bad way.

Mauricio, what is on his head??

Mira Zwillinger, this is pretty simple yet something I can see every twenty-something Israeli girl wearing, though I like it.

Yaniv Persy

Dorit Bar Or, hers was my favorite collection of the week.

Dorit Bar Or, again.
